Journey of Love to Allah

We meet again in my blog of Usrah Budi for week 4. Let's begin.😇

 My Usrah does not have a usual meeting because I have a programme that I need to attend. Which is  The Awakening Convention 2021.

The topic of this programme really touched me. It is Journey of Love to Allah by Dr Ali Albarghouti. The moderator: Bro. Faisal Abdul Latif.

The first question about it is: Do we love Allah like Do we ACTUALLY love ALLAH?.

Love is the most basic emotions we have. Which is the most powerful of emotions. When we love someone what will we do? Of course, we will do what they said right. It is the same when we love Allah, we will do everything He said. For example, "amar maaruf nahi mungkar". Doing everything for Allah is Love. We must remember that Allah never leaves us. We must do it without expectation which is done with no expectation. For example, when we help people, we cannot expect that they will give something to exchange. We need to trust that Allah will give us the reward.

Next, the sharing about How Allah Loves us?.

The way Allah loves us is we are surrounded by kind people, nice parent, nice foods and gives us test. We must be grateful for all this favour that Allah gave us. The best thing is when we lost, Allah still with us no matter what. This is happiness. Allah never leaves His slave.

Then, another sharing is How do we know Allah better?.

All the things that we do need a process. Read and Understand. These two things are very important. In the Quran, Allah said in Surah Al- Alaq verse 1: Read in the name of your Lord who created. What is written in the Quran is important so it is shown that read is very important if you want to know something. Moreover, we also can know it from Rasulullah. The challenge that the messenger faced make Rasulullah more close with Allah, it is because Rasulullah is a patient person. We must make him our role model. In addition, we also can know from understanding all Allah's name. The more we know the names of Allah, the more we will know about Allah.

Next, we have some Question and Answer session. I am really interested in one question which is what will do when we have an addiction to sins. First of all, the reason why we addicted to it because we love it more than we love Allah. If we love Allah, we will not commit sins, right?. Then, the ways to overcome it is to increase our ibadah and keep praying for forgiveness from Allah.

I share this question on my social media too. It is because nowadays everyone not realizing that some things that we do are sin. For example, associating between men and women. we cannot normalize that.

This programme gave me a lot of new knowledge and I really love this programme. From the moderator to the panel, it is really best and good sharing.
